# Delete a voice clone

> Remove one of your cloned voices.

Deletes a voice you cloned, whether you created it from the API or the playground. The voice
stops working immediately, and the slot counts toward your 10-voice limit again. Global voices
cannot be deleted.

A `404` with type `not_found_error` means the id does not exist, belongs to another account, or
was already deleted.
